Alex Dominguez brings over six years of federal government service working on energy and environmental matters. Mr. Dominguez’s federal experience includes serving as a Senior Advisor in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Air and Radiation. In his role at EPA, Dominguez managed over 300 people and directed regulatory actions related to mobile source air issues including the lead political official on the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). Dominguez was also responsible for engagement with external stakeholders including regulated entities, interested members of the public, and other federal agencies and Congressional offices. Prior to working at EPA, Dominguez worked for Congressman James Renacci (R-OH), where he was responsible for all legislative matters related to energy, environment, and agriculture. Dominguez joins Massie Partners from the American Petroleum Institute (API) where he led the association’s legislative and executive advocacy strategies for midstream and downstream segments of the oil and natural gas industry. In this capacity, he worked on various policy initiatives including permitting reform, implementation of the RFS, implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act, oil and natural gas exports, and low carbon solutions to advance the use of cleaner fuels.
